Privacy Policy
Plain English, no small print games. Here's exactly what we collect, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Last updated 29 June 2026
This policy explains how Little Web Lab (“we”, “us”) handles your information when you use our website or become a customer. If anything here isn't clear, just email [email protected] and we'll explain it properly.
What we collect
- When you enquire: your name, business name, trade, email, and (if you give it) your phone number and anything you write in the message.
- When you become a customer: the details we need to build and run your site, plus billing information. Card payments are handled by a secure third-party payment provider — we never see or store your full card number.
- When you visit: basic, privacy-friendly visitor stats (like how many people viewed a page). These are anonymised and aren't used to track you across the web.
Cookies
We don't use tracking or advertising cookies, so there's no cookie pop-up to click through. If you log into a client dashboard, we store a small marker on your own device to keep you signed in — nothing is shared with anyone else.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to build and look after your site.
- To take payment for your plan and keep your account running.
- To do the “getting found” work you're paying for (such as your Google Business Profile), on your behalf.
- To keep the website secure and make it better.
Who we share it with
Only the trusted services we need to run things — for example our form provider (to deliver your enquiry to us), our hosting provider, our payment provider, and Google (for the profile work we do for you). We'll never sell your information to anyone.
How long we keep it
Enquiries we keep only as long as needed to follow them up. Customer and billing records we keep for as long as you're with us, and for a period afterwards where the law requires it (for example tax records). Ask us to delete what we can, and we will.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Just email [email protected] and we'll sort it. If you're ever unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can also raise it with the relevant data protection regulator.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy we'll change the date at the top. For anything significant, we'll let customers know directly.
