- Why does it keep tripping?
- Almost always one circuit with a fault — damp, a failing appliance, or a fixing through a cable. A board with individual RCBOs also stops one fault taking the whole house out.
- Do I legally have to replace it?
- No law says swap a working board. But if an inspection flags it, or you're adding something like an EV charger, it often has to be upgraded first.
- How long is the power off?
- Three to four hours for a straight swap. We tell you the window before we isolate anything, so you can plan round it.
