Hot side: gas, boilers and heating
Radiators cold at the bottom? That's sludge, and it comes out.
Years of rust settle in the bottom of radiators and choke the boiler. A powerflush pushes it all out in a day, and we fit a filter so it stays out. New radiators and valves, where you need them, while we're there.

How it goes
- 1
Tell us which rooms
A photo of the cold radiator and the boiler is plenty to price it.
- 2
Flush day
Usually one day for a three-bed. Dust sheets down, no mess.
- 3
Balanced and warm
We go round every room with a thermometer before we leave.
“The back bedroom has been cold for six years. After the flush it's the warmest room in the house. Wish we'd done it sooner.”
Questions people ask
How do I know if I need a powerflush?
Radiators warm at the top and cold at the bottom, a noisy boiler, or black water when you bleed them. Any one of those is a good sign.
Can you move a radiator to another wall?
Yes. Tell us where it is and where you'd like it; a photo of the wall saves a guess about the pipework.
Will it fix my noisy pipes?
Often. Banging and kettling usually come from sludge or air. If it's loose pipework under the floor we'll tell you that too.

Tell Dan what you need and add a photo or two. These help most:
- The radiator that won't warm up
- The valves at each end
- The boiler, so we know the system
